Clearance Marker Light

Direct replacement for light that was damaged on my travel trailer. Since only the housing and amber lense was damaged, there was no need to replace the pigtail. Installation was a breeze, took less than 5 minutes to complete and re-caulk. Very happy with purchase!

This is not an LED light, so keep that in mind. The bulb does not seem to be the typical type bulb I am familiar with. When the lens is off, the bulb is removed by pulling it straight out, no twist needed. That will make it easier to replace bulbs assuming they are readily available at stores, which I don't know. This replaces some RV lights that had small cutouts, and this light, not being LED, also requires a small cutout, more than just a wiring hole, but not a lot. It is made of sturdy plastic and seems fine to me.

I bought these to replace the surface mount clearance lights on my boat trailer. When the lights arrived one was broken in the package so I returned it for credit and ordered another to replace it.When I received the replacement light, I opened one of the two packagse to install the light and discovered that the lights are not flush mounts. To install these you have to drill a 1" hole in your mounting surface so the bulb holder can be recessed. This is not stated in the description and I certainly wasn't going to drill a hole in 1/4" steel to mount a simple clearance light. I am sending them back.
