Warranty Information
Lumitronics warrants its lights and accessories to be in working order and corrosion-free during normal use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product. If the product should have issues during normal use, Lumitronics will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the replacement part necessary to put the product in good working condition. This warranty applies only to Lumitronics products installed in the United States of America, Canada or Mexico (North America).
Lumitronics also warrants all other aspects of the lights or accessories to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal usage in a recreational vehicle for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her Lumitronics product. All Lumitronics products are warranted for (1) year. If a defect is found during normal use, Lumitronics will, at its election, repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Lumitronics with all warranty claims. Lumitronics is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs. In no event shall the liability of Lumitronics exceed the purchase price of the product.

Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete description of the problem, the product, model number, color, the date the product was purchased and from whom the product was purchased. Some states/provinces do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of such damages, so these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. We decided to pull the stove overhead fan and light (which spat out it's bulb on every trip down the road), we cook sparingly inside the trailer, and the Fantastic fan is plenty for our 77 sq feet. The loss of the overhead unit just meant not banging our head on the unit. We installed the light using the wiring for the overhead fan/light unit.So, the light works, even the single light side provides brighter light than the overhead unit. Set to both sides there is a lot of light! Installation was a snap.I can't tell you about durability, we haven't had a chance to use our trailer yet this year, but it seems like a good buy.Be safe out there.

This light has a high setting and a low setting. It is a hard wire installation but easy to install.

While I had seen the dimensions online, I was pleased that it was larger than I expected. It was packaged in a clear bag without any instructions, but installation was pretty straightforward with only 2 wires to connect. I decided to use it to replace one of the basement lights in my motorhome and was quite surprised at the amount of bright white light the LEDs produced compare to the factory lighting. Once I had unscrewed and removed the old light fixture, installing the new one was pretty easy. I simply cut the wires to the old fixture, stripped the wire ends about a quarter of an inch and crimped them to the like colored wires of the new fixture with a butt connector. I was even able to reuse some of the current screw holes to mount the new fixture. Since the new fixture was slightly larger, I did have to drill in some new screw holes to ensure the whole fixture mounted securely. The new light does have a slider switch in the middle that can be set to off, light from only 1 side or light from both sides. With the increased amount of light this new fixture produces, setting the slider to light from one side is plenty for the basement where I installed it, but it is nice to have the option to use light from both sides when digging through all the stuff that gets stored down there. Overall I think the RV and Camper LED Interior Light was a smart purchase, not only for its ease of installation but also for the increased amount of light it produces. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light fixture to help brighten up an area.

Would have given 5 stars but you can't change bulb if it burns out or breaks you have to change the entire fixture.

I was sick of RV bulbs that got so hot they burned holes in the diffusion covers. These were a great replacement piece. Easy to install and light the room up in bright white light.
