Easy Upgrades for Your RV

Many RVs come with all kinds of bells and whistles, such as a pull-out bike rack and a remote control awning. However, many small details are simply overlooked by the manufacturers. There are a lot of inexpensive upgrades that can be implemented to make your home on the road’s space a lot more beautiful, and functional.

One of the easiest products to introduce into your RV is a paper towel holder that mounts to the wall. Counter space is precious and scarce in a recreational vehicle. If you currently have a paper towel holder on your counter, swap it out now! Not only will you have more counter space, but you also won’t have to worry about your paper towel holder sliding off the counter when the vehicle is in motion.

The lighting outside your vehicle may benefit from some upgrades. LED lighting has become a very popular choice since they were recently introduced. Odds are that your current lighting is not giving off the bright illumination that they could be. An LED exterior porch light with on/off switch and removable lenses is a fantastic way to brighten up the outside. This bright light will make it easier to see when outside, and will also provide more security.

Aside from having a porch light with an on/off switch, a porch scare light may be a great addition to your vehicle. A 12" LED Oval Scare/Porch Light will automatically turn on and off when you enter and exit your RV. Additionally, this light will come on if a person or animal approaches your vehicle in the dark

Frequently, motorhomes come with carpet flooring. This can be nice, but likely won’t last very long. Consider swapping out the carpet for wood or vinyl flooring. Not only will this give your space an updated look, it is also easy-to-care for. A vacuum will no longer be needed, and you can switch to a more compact, and lighter, broom.

An easy way to store a broom, among other items, is to utilize a pegboard. Using as much wall space as possible for storage will help declutter your RV. These boards can be used to hang many items that would otherwise end up on your counters, floors, or closets. You can hang in the kitchen, the bathroom, or virtually anywhere you want to have items accessible, and organized.

It may seem that the number of upgrades is endless, and perhaps it is. However, starting small with inexpensive upgrades will make your space, and yourself, more comfortable.
