This was added to our camper since we had an extra 12 volt fan form our previous camper. Just used center socket and mounted directly above bed beside light. Wish you could just buy that part. Worked good and now we have 12 volt fan in case we do not have 120 volt hook up and choose to run on solar panel and batteries.

Had to replace my old one since it was broken. Easy to wire up and screwed right in. Plugged the cord in with ease and didn't wiggle. Suggest when buying this to get a spare because they can be hard to find especially ones like this that actually work right
