excellent light , fit right in, perfect amount of light, I like it a lot!
Perfect fit for replacing the original ones on our 2005 Class A motorhome, even the screw holes lined up. the gasket that goes between the back of the fixture and the body of the motorhome is good quality but doesn't come pre-punched, so having a means to do that is helpful. Trying to run the screw through it would probably work but past experience with this type of gasket material has been that the screw grabs the gasket and wants to twist, so pre-punching makes sure the gasket lays flat for a good seal. I laid the fixture on the gasket and then market the holes with a silver sharpie, then punch it with the smallest hole punch in my set and it worked perfectly.
If running RV power, its probably great, but im running a house breaker box in my camper after rebuilding it from the ground up, it blew as soon as i plugged it in, so i fixed it with a led house bulb and wired it up.
The light emitted is not white light. Installing two of these units inside the compartment of one of my trucks results in insufficient lighting, characterized by a very low light intensity.

Good light bad gasket. Gasket had come off light and twisted. Could not get it to flatten so used gray rubber gasket tape like was on original.
Light work for my camper.
I purchased this last year, so it is out of the return window, so the best I can do is to warn others about this (I finally went to put this onto the camper). The description shows this as a flat mounted light to go onto the side of the camper. However, the flange is about a half inch from the back of the light, so it would not sit flush on the wall.I now need to purchase another one, and seal off the old wire hole in case it rains until the new one comes in.
Used as porch light on our camper. So much more light than the little original light.

Very dim.. It says LED.. but I think my bulb one was brighter!! Only switched to LED cause I ain't gotta change bulbs as often and I expected way brighter. Giving 2 stars as pictured are NOT accurate in the description.

Make sure we're you are installing it have a cut out for the insertion otherwise it will no seat flush my rv only have small hole for the wires and the back of the light need to be flat in order to fit
I bought what one of these last year when I did some roof maintenance on our 2000 Montana 5th wheel. It took about 15 minutes to install. Fast and easy. I decided to replace the old one on the opposite side that had mold inside and the lens was cracked. I pulled the old one off with no trouble. But then I saw that this new one wasn't a surface mount, which screws straight to the fiberglass with only one small hole for the wiring to come through. The one I just received has a 'surface mount' trim ring, which fastens to the fiberglass siding, but the rest of the light is recessed 5/8" under the fiberglass surface(???). The one I installed last year was a flat backed, surface mount light. I went ahead and cut a 7" diameter hole inside the diameter of the old light. What a pain in the neck! And the aluminum frame sitting behind the luan board siding (under the fiberglass), was less than 5/8 deep, so I had to bang that with a hammer to make it work. This is NOT what is advertised, and absolutely not what I received last year. I know, I should have returned it, but the 5er is 30 miles away at a property we own, and when I have a project started, I want to finish it, not wait a week or two, so I made a quick decision to just make it work. What a mistake that was. I am not happy at all with the light. And to make things worse, I went around to the back side of the trailer to check how the other light went in, wondering why the first one was correct (flat mounted, not recessed), and it has about an inch and a half of water inside of it. What a waste of time and money!

Replaced both of the old lights on our 2002 Newmar Kountry Star. These look great and give a good amount of light. Enough for security lighting at any site we may need it.

Old one was leaking around the seal and of course you can't just buy the seal, so I replaced everything as the old one had rust on it from the leak. Easy to install and works as expected.
